Larry and Tilly's Garden

In my young adult years I had two close friends that I have fond memories of. One of those memories was of spending time in their parent’s backyard. It was always full of an abundance of flowers, vegetables and all manner of growing things. I don’t know exactly the plants but when my mind pulls up those memories it is full of sprouting abundance that makes me feel happy and hopeful just like time spent there felt.

This collection features variations of beloved seasonal figures, among other types of work, but the theme and centerpiece painting in this collection is "Larry and Tilly's Garden", a reminder of all the beautiful memories and feelings of those days gone by.

How do I know how much to bid?

Ultimately it is up to you! There are however, some things to consider:
Emotion

We buy art based on emotions.  If the painting speaks to you emotionally it is most likely one that you would want to bid on.

Artist's Training

Brook has had extensive training in color, line, and design work as well as worked with major corporate companies as a color expert. 

Appraisal and Lineage

Brook’s mother’s paintings began bidding at $50,000 and appraisers say that her children should never price their own art lower than $1,000. 

Uniqueness

Each painting is an original piece that will be the only one in existence. No other copies or prints have been or will be made. You will own a one-of-kind Brook Thornley painting that will never be found anywhere else.

That being said, of course bid whatever you feel is appropriate and are comfortable with.
