Why are you called “The Original Personality Test”?
The principles of harmony that Human Art: The Original Personality Test uses have always existed and subconsciously we have always been aware of them. Over several years of study and observation, Human Art made the connections between them and identified how we can use those principles to better understand ourselves and others. So although there are other "personality tests" that were technically created before Human Art: The Original Personality Test was founded, we are the "original" personality test because we take you back to the true and inherent (or, you might say, original) principles behind who you are and teach you how to use them.
The Original Personality Test is the only personality test which will never ask you to fill out a questionnaire or inventory to determine your personality profile. Other existing personality tests share roots in the Myers-Briggs research and science. These tests are useful and can be meaningful to many, but any personality test which relies on self-report quizzes and questionnaires can be skewed and distorted based on how the respondent interprets the question or wants to be perceived.
The Original Personality Test is an objective, observable measure which uses the science of color, line, sound and movement to determine how your personality fits into existing harmonies in nature. Do you have classes I can attend?
Currently we only put on classes by request. A person or organization asks us to come teach a class to their group and for a fee we will come present Human Art: The Original Personality Test. (click here to learn more about the various types of classes and workshops we can do).
There are several ways you can access Human Art: The Original Personality Test classes or similar:
- Online webinars: we will be regularly hosting short online classes on a variety of topics, check out our webinar page for the schedule and pricing.
- If you would like to attend a live class we recommend putting together a group of friends, co-workers, family or others and inviting us to come present to you. Fill out the contact us form and we can work with you on fees and scheduling.
- Join the Human Art Classroom for just $99. There are several videos, with more always being added, that will include a lot of the information you would get in a class. Although these are recorded and not live, you will still get a LOT of great information from them!
- Sometimes groups that schedule classes will open it to the public and ask us to put out an open invitation to our followers, and in that case we will spread the word!
Although nothing is quite like a live, in-person class, there are so many great options for learning all you need to know about Human Art: The Original Personality Test and your personal design! In the future, we do plan on hosting our own classes, but for now the suggestions above are your best option.
Can I schedule a private consultation?
We do offer private consultations for both individuals or groups that can be tailored to your needs. However, because it is only Brook and Rod who provide this service, our schedule, unfortunately, is obviously very limited. As a result there may be a waiting period until an opening comes available. We’d always love to see you though, so give us a call and let’s see what we can do!
What is the difference between a harmony and a design?
Technically a “harmony” refers to each individual personality type, while the unique combination of all four harmonies (with one usually being dominant) is your “design.” That being said, you’ll find that we often use the terms interchangeably, with no real difference between the two descriptions.
Do you have a book I can buy?
We did publish a book in 2006 titled “Human Art: Understanding Your Own Personal Design” by Brook and Rod Thornley. It was self-published, so we only had a certain number of books printed. Those have, unfortunately, all sold out now. We would LOVE to put out a 2nd edition, and that will be in the works, but we currently have no projected date of when that would be completed and published. For now, we recommend joining The Human Art Classroom for just $99 and you’ll get a TON of the same information (and possibly even more!) that is in the book.

Why should I get a membership?
The real question is, why shouldn’t you get a membership!? The Human Art Classroom offers you videos, downloadable materials and a psychology journal from Licensed Clinical Social Worker Rod Thornley. The videos will range from class-type settings and information, to seeing Human Art work with individuals to find their designs. Downloads will be everything from cheat sheets, to quizzes, to pictures. In The Journal, Rod will share how Human Art: The Original Personality Test and standard principles of psychology can be used together to help understand and treat individuals. And you don’t just get access to what is currently in the classroom—we will be adding NEW videos, materials and articles at no additional cost. So basically, you are getting a regular flow of exclusive Human Art content, that non-members won’t see.

What kind of fees should I expect with a membership?
A ONE TIME $99 membership fee is all you’ll pay. Once again, that is a ONE TIME fee! That’s amazing, considering you get all content currently in the classroom, plus everything NEW that will be added (which is going to be often). Check it out now!
What can I access without a membership?
The Human Art: The Original Personality Test blog and youth blog are free to read for anyone. Also access to our standard pages on the website, such as testimonials, the about us pages and our services list. Anything in the Human Art Classroom, such as our video and downloadable materials, will only be available to those who have purchased a membership.
